how does ordering my own acvstica retro-engineered console work?
We typically take a 50% deposit down with the remaining balance due upon completion, before we schedule your delivery. Vintage Source has the ability to take cash, checks, credit or debit cards, as well as Venmo. There is financing offered through Affirm.
We keep a few unrestored consoles to chose from in both our showroom and storage unit in the same building (making it easy to take a look at our inventory and pick a console that’d be just right for you). We can take a look at your own console, if you’ve already purchased one or you own a family heirloom you’d like to get back in service.

Our consoles will have a matched set of new custom-tuned speakers, new solid state amplifier and audiophile-grade record player. Along with these, our built-in preamplifier, which seamlessly gets wired through the original control panel in your console whenever possible comes with Wi-Fi, fully capable of streaming from Spotify Connect, Apple Airplay and a dozen more streaming services, as well as Bluetooth and, when possible, a TV-Ready optical-input (also compatible with cd players).
All of our consoles, speakers and radios go through an extensive bespoke tunning using a professional calibration microphone and computer software, which then gets written into the amplifiers DSP (Digital Signal Processor) firmware. This is done in order to achieve outstanding fidelity and performance.
